Old and odd bits of paper, tools, and ephemera fascinate me. I try to imagine the history, importance, and stories that are attached to the artifacts. I create assemblages in hopes of elevating the simple bits of everyday life into a more lasting form.

I grew up on a farm in North Dakota, where I learned to appreciate hard work, old tools, and the beauty of simple things. I have a BFA with a focus in Graphic Design, and live in Seattle with my husband, 2 daughters, one angry cat and an over-active dog.
